How we operate

No Political Affiliation

ACCLAD does not align with any government, political party, or national interest. No head of state or government official may serve on the Global Council while in office.

Commercial Firewall

Corporate partnerships and sponsorships exist only at the event and communications level. No commercial relationship of any kind may influence, inform, or have access to the selection process.

Mandatory Recusal

Council members must declare any personal or professional relationship with a nominee and are required to recuse themselves from all related deliberations.

Permanent Archive Obligation

ACCLAD is legally bound to maintain its honoree archive in perpetuity. No honoree may be retrospectively removed from the archive except in cases of verified fraud in the original nomination.
