About ACCLAD

We exist to find, celebrate, and amplify the individuals who are quietly reshaping the world — in every nation, every sector, every generation.

Born from a conviction

ACCLAD was founded in 2014 on a single conviction: that the world's most consequential leaders were not always the most visible ones. The architects of lasting change — the scientists, educators, diplomats, and entrepreneurs quietly transforming communities — were too often invisible to the mechanisms of global recognition.

We set out to change that. Through a rigorous, peer-led selection process and a commitment to genuine global representation, ACCLAD has grown into one of the world's most trusted independent recognition bodies — spanning 195 nations and 24 sectors of human endeavour.

"Excellence knows no border, no language, no creed. It demands only courage, commitment, and an unwavering dedication to the advancement of humanity."

Today, ACCLAD's Global Council of Peers — composed of former heads of state, Nobel laureates, and distinguished sector leaders — reviews thousands of nominations annually, selecting those whose contribution is not merely impressive, but truly transformative.

Our principles

01
Independence

ACCLAD accepts no government funding, no corporate sponsorship in the selection process, and no influence from any political body. Our council operates in full independence.

02
Merit

Selection is based solely on verified achievement, measurable impact, and demonstrated character. Reputation without substance does not qualify.

03
Inclusion

Distinction exists in every nation, every culture, and every discipline. Our mandate is to find it wherever it lives — not only where it is most loudly proclaimed.

04
Permanence

ACCLAD recognition is a permanent record. Our archive is maintained in perpetuity as a living testament to those who chose to leave the world better than they found it.

05
Responsibility

We take seriously the weight of recognition. The ACCLAD name is attached only to those whose integrity, as well as their achievement, meets the highest standard.

06
Amplification

Recognition is not the end — it is the beginning. ACCLAD works to amplify every honoree's voice, work, and mission on the global stage.
